I’m telling you, man, I can’t quit League of Legends. I really can’t. There’s just something about going toe to toe with other players from all over the world and kicking their butts time and time again. That keeps me going. In fact, on certain days, it’s the only thing that gets me out of bed.
I’m not alone. The reason why a lot of people have fallen in love with this game is because it gives them a distinct and very vivid sense of being alive.
I remember a friend of mine who was telling me that he would stop getting his heart broken by women, but it’s the only way he knows to remind himself that he is alive. The fact that he is able to love fully and the fact that these women just keep crushing his heart again and again, all day, every day, may seem like the stuff of tragic comedies, but he has a point.
It would be quite interesting if we lived in a world where we are insulated from any kind of loss. Every game you play ends in victory. Everything you do is an out and out success. I’m telling you, in that world, people are going to find a way to bring tragedy. Seriously. Because that’s not living.
And my point is, when it comes to League of Legends, it’s the distinct chance of losing that makes it so awesome. It’s the distinct chance of trying as hard as you can in getting your ass kicked, which keeps me going back again and again. Now, you can call me a glutton for punishment, but this is how my mind operates.
Unfortunately, I’m almost quite alone in this because a lot of people quit League of Legends. I know, it sounds crazy, but it happens all the time. Why? Well, they play, and it turns out that they can’t make progress against people who live in the game. These are people who just camp out at League of Legends and they hand out butt kickings all day, every day.
If you are just a kid who just started playing this game, it gets old quickly. You’re excited, you really can’t wait to play it, but eventually, the prospect of knowing, at the back of your head, that you’re going to lose this match just like you did the other matches, is going to wear on you. Eventually, you will get so demoralized and so discouraged that you don’t want to touch the game again.
This is the reason why I would suggest, if you are just playing the game casually and you feel that you haven’t leveled your skills up, you should buy League of Legends accounts. These accounts have features that would enable you to win.
I’m not saying that you’re going to win all the time, but at least you would win enough for you to invest the proper amount of time, effort and energy to build up your skills sufficiently. This way, you’re not going to get so discouraged because of your almost predictable defeats that you will stick to it.
Me, on the other hand, I will stick to getting my butt kicked because for every time I get my butt kicked, I whip out ten butt kickings.
